What you’ll build
With a parent's OK, choose a rookie you know, like a younger sibling or cousin, and find out what they love with a short interview. Build a Mentor HQ with a giant banner, a welcome sign and a rookie locker full of their favourite things, then keep your notes in a rookie file.
Finish line: Your Mentor HQ is ready with a giant banner, a stocked rookie locker and a signed rookie file on the lectern.
Bonus challenge: Hide a surprise chest under a trapdoor in the HQ floor and give your rookie just one riddle as a clue. How long until they find it?

Stuck?
- Ask open questions like 'What do you love building?' rather than yes-or-no ones.
- A name tag needs renaming on an anvil before it will name a pet.
- Keep the welcome sign to your rookie's first name or nickname only.
