Run your rookie's first session using only hints, never taking over.
Your rookie is stuck. Your fingers are itching. The hardest move in the game: do NOT take over.

What you’ll build
Bring your rookie onto Rookie Island and run their very first session with your hands off the controls. Climb a hint ladder only when they're stuck: ask a question, give a clue, show once, then hand back. Tally every hint, cheer their finish and pick one thing to improve.
Finish line: Your rookie finishes Mission R1 mostly on their own, and you know one thing to change for Scroll 2.
Bonus challenge: Pretend YOU are stuck and see if your rookie helps you. Do they use the hint ladder, or just grab?

Stuck?

- No second device? Take turns on one and coach from beside them.
- Count to five before any hint. Rookies often solve it in that pause.
