What you’ll build
Design the greatest fireworks show ever. Craft your own firework stars and rockets in different colours, shapes and heights, hide launch pads around the site and wire them with repeaters into a three-act show: a ripple, a high act and an all-at-once finale.
Finish line: Your three-act fireworks show fires on cue: a ripple, a high act and a sky-filling finale.
Bonus challenge: Write a 30-second show score like sheet music: beats across the top, pads down the side. Fire it in time to a tune you made up yourself.

Stuck?
- Rockets need a firework star to burst in colour. More gunpowder makes them fly higher.
- Dispensers must face up, and each one fires one rocket per new signal.
- Test at night, then bury the wiring once every pad fires on time.
