What you’ll build
Write a run of show for the big night with every part and its timing. Then rehearse the whole thing with a family test guest, hunt down every glitch from misfiring dispensers to typos, fix each one and test it again. Shorten the boring bits and post the final plan by the stage.
Finish line: Your full show has been rehearsed and timed, every glitch is fixed and the run of show is posted by the stage.
Bonus challenge: Disaster drill: your test guest secretly breaks one thing (empties a dispenser, swaps a sign). Can you find and fix it in under 2 minutes?
You’ll need
- Spare firework rockets
- Spare lamps and redstone
- Signs
- A stopwatch
- A family test guest
You choose

Stuck?
- Dispensers empty after each test, so keep spare rockets to reload them.
- Retest the exact spot you fixed, not just the whole show.
- Fireworks still launch in the rain, so weather won't spoil the night.
