What you’ll build
Build a lookout tower at least 20 blocks tall with ladders inside and a railing at the top. Spot four distant targets and guess how far away each one is, then travel to each and use coordinates to check. Finish by choosing the spot for your next outpost.
Finish line: Your lookout towers over the land, four distances are worked out, and your next outpost is marked on the map.
Bonus challenge: Got a water bucket? Empty your pockets, place one water block at the foot of the tower and take the leap from the top. Water cancels fall damage!

- Lots of building blocks
- Ladders
- Fences or walls for a railing
- Your landmark log from Mission 102

Stuck?
- Ladders need a solid block behind them, so build the tower walls first and place ladders on the inside.
- Add the railing before you look over the edge. A fall from 20 blocks can knock out most of your health.
- When a coordinate is negative, count the gap across zero: from −15 to 20 is 35 blocks.
