What you’ll build
Turn bones into bone meal and plant two kinds of crops on watered farmland. Puff each plant one bone meal at a time until it's ripe, counting every puff. Work out each crop's true record and crown the cheapest crop to grow by magic.
Finish line: Every puff is tallied, each crop has a true record, and the cheapest crop to magic up is crowned.
Bonus challenge: Grand finale: try the trick on 5 saplings. Does a tree need more puffs than a crop? Add a third column to your score sheet.

- Bones
- Seeds for two crops
- A hoe

Stuck?
- One bone makes 3 bone meal. Skeletons drop bones at night, so a sword and armour help.
- Each puff grows a crop by a random amount, so different counts for the same crop are normal.
- Keep the farmland watered and lit, or plants may struggle and even pop off.
