Write a mission card, watch someone play it from the card alone, fix it.
You've done 209 missions. Now you're the game master. Can someone else beat yours using only your card?
- New skill Designing and testing a challenge
- Level 3 · Dream City
- Difficulty Beginner
- Mode Creative
- Time 45–55 min
- Ages 13+
What you’ll build
Become the game master: write your own mission card with a hook, a constraint, clear steps and a brain buster. Watch a player try to beat it from the card alone, note every spot where they get stuck, then rewrite those steps and compare your time guess with reality.
Finish line: Someone has played your mission from the card alone, and you've fixed the steps that tripped them up.
Bonus challenge: Give the fixed card to a second player. Do they finish faster, with fewer stuck moments?
You’ll need
- A family member to play
- A timer
You choose
- My mission idea (from Mission 199 or new)
- Its constraint (budget, size, palette or time)
- Its brain buster
Stuck?
- Tempted to help? Stay silent. Every moment they get stuck shows you a step to rewrite.
- Player confused by a step? Use one action per step and name exact blocks and sizes.
- Way off on time? New challenges usually take longer than expected, so pad your next estimate.
For grown-ups
