- Level 4 · Legends of the Deep
- Difficulty Intermediate
- Mode Survival
- Time 45–60 min
- Ages 13+
What you’ll build
Every pirate captain has a secret hoard. Dig a hidden vault and dress it like a pirate cave, then sort every scrap of treasure into piles and count it all. Turn the count into a pie chart and guard the vault with a redstone alarm.
Finish line: Your treasure is counted, charted and hidden in a secret vault with a working alarm.
Bonus challenge: Build a decoy vault nearby with one sad potato in a chest and a sign saying 'Nice try'. See who falls for it.
You’ll need
- All your treasure
- Lanterns, barrels and chests
- A pressure plate
- Redstone dust
- A note block
You choose
- My hoard's name
- Secret entrance: fake wall, trapdoor under a carpet or a waterfall
- The cursed item at the centre of the pile
Stuck?
- Alarm silent? Make sure the redstone dust runs all the way from the pressure plate to the note block.
- Redstone dust needs a solid block under it to sit on.
- Shares adding up to 99% or 101%? That's just rounding, and it's fine.
