Crack the last code, build a giant map wall and reach the final spot.
One last scrap of paper, four scrambled letters: ZHVW. Crack it, and the explorer's final map points the way.

What you’ll build
Crack the explorer's last shift code to learn which way they went. Then make maps of the land around HQ, zoom and lock them on a cartography table, and hang them together as one giant map wall. Find the biggest unexplored patch in the right direction and travel there before nightfall.
Finish line: You've cracked the code, built a giant locked map wall and reached the final spot.
Bonus challenge: Write a new shift code (try moving letters by 5) that leads to a hidden chest near your map wall. Can someone in your family crack it?
You’ll need
- Paper
- A compass
- Glass panes
- Item frames
- A cartography table

Stuck?
- A map only fills in where you walk with it in your hand. Hold it as you explore.
- Zoom out by adding paper on a cartography table. Lock a copy with a glass pane so it stops changing.
- Maps in item frames must line up edge to edge. Make each one from the square next to the last.
