Build a hidden vault: an iron door that opens only with your secret combo.
At the final spot: an iron door, no handle, a row of levers. One combo opens it. Can you build one better?

What you’ll build
Dig a vault into the final spot and hang an iron door that only redstone can open. Wire a row of levers using redstone torches that switch off when powered, so the door opens only when the right levers are on and the wrong ones are off. Hide the wiring and challenge your family to crack it.
Finish line: Your hidden vault has an iron door that opens only with your secret lever combination.
Bonus challenge: Add a decoy lever that rings a bell when someone flicks it. Now crackers know they've been caught!
You’ll need
- An iron door
- Redstone dust
- Redstone torches
- 4–5 levers
- Solid blocks
- A family member to crack it

Stuck?
- A redstone torch on the side of a block turns off when that block gets power. That's the key trick.
- Test each lever one at a time. A single wrong lever must keep the door shut.
- Redstone dust needs a block under it, and stays hidden best when run behind or under walls.
