What you’ll build
Design a cosy guest room with lamps and an innocent-looking lever. The secret is a redstone torch that flips the signal, so the switch works backwards. Add a surprise BOO plate, invite a tester in and watch the confusion before you reveal the trick.
Finish line: Your guest room has a light switch that works backwards and a BOO plate waiting for the next confused visitor.
Bonus challenge: Add a second switch that makes the lights work normally again. Can your tester work out which switch is the honest one?

Stuck?
- The lever and the torch must be on the same block, on opposite sides, for the flip to work.
- Lamps on all the time? Check the dust runs from the torch, not from the lever's side of the block.
- No BOO? A note block needs an empty block of air above it to play.
