What you’ll build
Dig a twisting maze with dead ends and only one true path, then hide the way through behind a sticky-piston door that looks like wall. Add harmless traps and alarms, fill a treasure room with gold and time a robber's runs.
Finish line: Your maze has fake tunnels, harmless traps, a hidden piston door and a robber's average time.
Bonus challenge: Add a second secret door that only opens when two hidden levers are both switched on. Can your robber work out the trick?
You’ll need
- Sticky pistons
- Redstone dust
- A button or lever
- Pressure plates
- Note blocks
- Trapdoors

Stuck?
- A note block only plays with an empty space above it. Wire it from the plate with redstone dust.
- Piston door not closing? A sticky piston pulls its block back only when the power turns off.
- Redstone dust needs a solid block under it, so keep wiring on the ground or hidden in walls.
