Build a 5-floor sky farm, each 9 × 9 floor watered from the middle.
In 2126 the farms grow up, not out. Build a glowing farm tower that can feed the whole city.

What you’ll build
Build a glowing farm tower that grows up, not out. Each floor gets one water block in the middle, farmland all round and bright lights overhead. Stack five floors with a different crop on each, then harvest and compare with a flat field.
Finish line: Your five-floor sky farm glows with light and water, and you've counted a harvest.
Bonus challenge: Add a 6th floor with animals or a beehive. What's the new crop total, and how do you get the animals up there?
You’ll need
- Seeds of 5 kinds
- A hoe
- Water buckets
- Bone meal
- Glowstone or sea lanterns
- Ladders

- Crop on each floor
- My lights (glowstone, sea lanterns, lamps)
Stuck?
- Crops not growing indoors? They need bright light, so add more glowstone or sea lanterns to the ceiling.
- One water block keeps farmland wet up to 4 blocks away, enough for a 9×9 floor.
- Ladders need a solid block behind them, so run them up a wall.
