What you’ll build
Build a cosy, cluttered detective's study and hide ten objects in barrels, under trapdoors and behind look-alike blocks. Write a clue list on a lectern, time a player's search, then tune the spots until the room feels just right.
Finish line: Your detective's study hides ten objects and is tuned so new players find about seven of them.
Bonus challenge: Hide an 11th secret that's NOT on the list: a golden apple in a barrel built into a wall of look-alike blocks. Anyone who finds it wins a crown.
