Build four pens, breed four kinds of animal and predict the boom.
Two cows. Two sheep. Two pigs. Give it twenty days and you could rule a herd big enough to feed an army.

What you’ll build
Build four pens and lure cows, sheep, pigs and chickens home with their favourite food. Breed every pair you can, round after round, tally every baby and see whether your herd beats the prediction you made at the start.
Finish line: Your four pens are busy and your round-by-round herd chart sits beside your prediction.
Bonus challenge: Dye two sheep different colours and breed them. Does the lamb copy a parent, or get a brand-new colour? Try 3 colour pairs.

Stuck?
- Animals only follow while you hold their food: wheat for cows and sheep, carrots or potatoes for pigs, seeds for chickens.
- No hearts on a second try? Parents need about five minutes before they can breed again.
- Babies take about one in-game day to grow up and can't breed until then.
