Plant a tree farm, chop it against the clock and find your wood per hour.
Your base eats wood: torches, chests, tools, fences. Stop chopping forests bare and grow your own.

What you’ll build
Plant saplings in neat, well-lit rows with room for each tree to grow, and use bone meal for a speed boost if you have it. When the farm is ready, race to chop the lot, count every log, replant and work out your wood per hour.
Finish line: Your tree farm is replanted and you know exactly how many logs per hour it gives you.
Bonus challenge: Plant 4 spruce saplings in a 2 × 2 square and grow a giant spruce. How many logs does one mega tree give compared with a small one?

Stuck?
- Saplings need light and open space above them. A low roof or overhanging leaves can stop them growing.
- Some trees need extra room. Spread saplings out if they refuse to grow.
- Collect the saplings that drop from leaves so you can always replant.
