What you’ll build
Dig three identical straight tunnels at three different depths and tally every ore you can see in the walls, floor and ceiling. Turn your tallies into ores per ten blocks and crown a champion depth for each ore.
Finish line: Your three tunnels are dug, your ore table is full and every ore has a champion depth.
Bonus challenge: Add a fourth tunnel at Y 48. Does copper or coal steal the crown? Draw a bar for each ore at each depth.

Stuck?
- Keep every tunnel the same length and height, and skip cave shortcuts, or the test isn't fair.
- Count ores you can see, not just ones you mine, so every tunnel is scored the same way.
- Results vary from world to world, so your winners might differ from guides. That's fine.
