What you’ll build
Build a safe, lit hut for a jobless villager and give it a lectern to turn it into a librarian. Check its book trades, refresh them until Mending appears, then trade for it and put it on a tool to watch experience repair it.
Finish line: You've won a Mending book, put it on your gear and kept a tally of every try it took.
Bonus challenge: Set up a second librarian and hunt Unbreaking. Predict the number of tries from your Mending hunt, then see how close you get.

Stuck?
- Breaking and replacing the lectern only refreshes trades if you haven't traded with that librarian yet.
- Villager not taking the job? Make sure the lectern is the closest free workstation and give it a moment.
- Keep the hut lit and the door shut, so zombies can't reach your librarian.
