A lava ocean blocks the way. No bridge. No boat. Just a wobbly red creature that loves to walk on fire.

What you’ll build
Craft a warped fungus on a stick, drink Fire Resistance as a backup and saddle a strider at the edge of a lava ocean. Steer it across, time the ride, then time the long way round on foot and see which route wins.
Finish line: You've crossed the lava on a saddled strider and timed it against the slow way round.
Bonus challenge: Build a lava pen next to your hub with a little dock, ride your strider home and park it there for future trips.

- A saddle
- A fishing rod
- Warped fungus
- A Fire Resistance potion
- Spare blocks

Stuck?
- Only adult striders can be saddled. Hold the warped fungus on a stick to steer once you're on.
- Striders are slow and shivery on land. Keep them on lava.
- Fell in? Drink Fire Resistance straight away and swim for the shore.
