What you’ll build
Draw a heist route and an escape route on your spy map, then sneak into the bastion wearing gold. Open the chests on your route, tally the loot, hunt for the netherite upgrade template and get back to the portal in one piece.
Finish line: You've escaped the bastion with a full loot tally and a netherite upgrade template in hand.
Bonus challenge: Rank your loot from most to least useful for forging netherite. Which item surprised you most, and what will you do with it?
You’ll need
- A piece of gold armour
- Blocks
- Food
- A bow
- A pickaxe
- A family member or friend
You choose
- The heist's code name
- Route: closest chest first, or treasure room first
- My bet: chests opened before the template
Stuck?
- Opening chests angers nearby piglins, even when you wear gold. Be ready to run or fight.
- Bastions have big lava gaps. Carry blocks to bridge them and wall off drops.
- If things go wrong, switch to your escape route straight away. The loot can wait.
