Craft a beacon, build its mineral pyramid and light the beam.
One star. Three obsidian. Five glass. Put them together and shoot a beam of light into the sky.

What you’ll build
Craft a beacon from your nether star, obsidian and glass, then plan and build its pyramid of mineral blocks. Place the beacon on top, choose a power to light the beam, budget for the next level and tint the beam with stained glass.
Finish line: Your beacon is shining on its mineral pyramid with a coloured beam and a plan for the next level.
Bonus challenge: Stack two different stained glass colours on top of the beacon. Does the beam mix the colours? Try three!

- A nether star
- 3 obsidian
- 5 glass
- Mineral blocks
- Stained glass
You choose
- My beacon's name
- My pyramid minerals (iron, gold, emerald, diamond)
- My beam colour
Stuck?
- The beam needs a clear view of the sky. Glass above is fine, solid blocks aren't.
- Iron, gold, emerald, diamond and netherite blocks all count, and you can mix them.
- Beacon not working? The pyramid layer must be complete under the beacon, with no gaps.
