Track down a Nether fortress with a coordinate trail and a turn-back alarm.
Somewhere in the red haze stands a fortress of dark brick, guarded by blazes. Find it, log it, get home alive.

What you’ll build
Choose a search direction, set a turn-back alarm and set out from your tunnel. Log coordinates as you go and leave a breadcrumb trail home. Spot a fortress from a safe distance, then head back and convert its location to the Overworld.
Finish line: You've logged a coordinate trail and either found a fortress or made it home safely to try again.
Bonus challenge: Build a tall glowstone or torch pillar near the fortress so you can spot it from far away next time.

Stuck?
- Place your breadcrumbs on the same side all the way out, so they're on the other side coming back.
- When the alarm goes off, turn back. A scout who gets home can always search again.
- Don't go inside yet. Log the fortress from a safe distance.
