What you’ll build
Build a round, a pointed and a sharp lancet arch side by side at the same width, then measure which reaches highest. Use the winner for a spooky Gothic hall front with tall stained-glass windows, buttresses and moonlit shadows, plus a secret way in.

Bonus challenge: Add a round rose window above the door. Diameter ___, so its rim is about 3.14 × ___ = ___ blocks round. Light it with moonlight colours.

Stuck?
- Arch looks lumpy? Use stairs to smooth the curve and build both sides as mirror images.
- Comparison unfair? Every arch needs the same width and the same side-wall height.
- Measure height from the floor to the top of the opening, not to the top of the stonework.
