Build a giant suspension bridge whose cable follows a secret curve code.
Every famous city has a landmark everyone knows. Yours is a giant bridge whose cable swoops like a smile.

What you’ll build
Fill in a table from a secret curve code and plot it as a graph. Then build two towers and a straight deck across the water, lay the main cable outwards from the centre using your table, mirror it on the other side and drop hangers to the deck for a landmark swoop.
Finish line: Your suspension bridge has two towers, a symmetrical swooping cable, hangers and a deck across the water.
Bonus challenge: Add giant anchor blocks on each bank where the cables end. Real anchors are huge blocks of concrete. Why do they need to be so heavy?

Stuck?
- Cable lopsided? Build from the centre outwards and copy each height to the same spot on the other side.
- Lost the centre? Mark it with a bright block and note its coordinates before you start.
- Heights not whole numbers? Round every one the same way and note it in your table.
