Build a stocked, fully lit camp above the stronghold, with a safe way down.

What you’ll build
Under your boots lies a stone maze; up here is the last safe bed. Build a fully lit camp over the stronghold, set your spawn and fill your chests from a supply list. Dig a lit staircase down to the first stone bricks and seal it with a door.
Finish line: Your base camp is lit and stocked, your spawn is set and a sealed stairway leads down to the stronghold.
Bonus challenge: Dig a hidden second exit from the stairway to the surface, so you always have two ways home.

- Lots of torches
- Blocks

Stuck?
- Mobs inside the camp? Light every corner so nothing can spawn.
- Never dig straight down: stair down so you can't fall into a cave or lava.
- Bed won't work? Monsters nearby stop you using it, so light up and wall in the area first.
