Test 30 stronghold bricks for hidden silverfish, then survive a swarm.
Some of these bricks are not bricks. Something tiny and angry lives inside. Can you spot the traps first?

What you’ll build
Some of these bricks aren't bricks. Pick a stretch of stronghold wall, place your bet, then mine the bricks one by one and tally which ones hide silverfish. Fight smart in narrow spots, mark the traps and tag the corridor on your map.
Finish line: You've tested your stretch of wall, survived the silverfish and tagged the corridor safe or trapped.
Bonus challenge: Time a swarm escape, then hunt for the perfect silverfish-proof doorway and try to beat your time.
You’ll need
- A stone pickaxe
- A sword
- Food
- Armour
- Spare blocks
You choose
- My test wall: a corridor near
- My escape plan if they swarm
- My bet: how many of 30 bricks hide silverfish
Stuck?
- Swarmed? Back off and block the corridor behind you to catch your breath.
- Fight in a doorway so silverfish come at you one at a time.
- Use the same pickaxe for every brick so you can tell if one breaks differently.
