Build a small model of your dog, then build a giant version of it.

What you’ll build
Honour your dog with a giant statue. You'll build a small model first, then choose a scale and turn every block into a bigger cube as you build the giant version. Add the head, ears, tail and collar, then stand your real dog beside it.
Finish line: You have a small model and a giant statue that both look like the same dog.
Bonus challenge: Add a name sign at the bottom, like a museum statue.
You’ll need
- Wool or concrete in your dog's colours
- Your dog
- A big empty space

- Sitting or standing pose
- How big (2 times or 3 times)
- Where the statue goes
Stuck?
- Shape looks wrong? Go back to the model and count again. One block in the model becomes a whole cube in the giant.
- Running out of room? Scaling up uses far more blocks and space than you'd expect, so start in a wide open area.
- Build the giant one layer at a time from the bottom, checking the model as you go.
