No keys. No levers. The only way through this gate is to play the secret song back… perfectly.

What you’ll build
Build a gate with a guard post and a row of note blocks you'll tune into a climbing musical scale. Hold a sound tournament by swapping the blocks underneath to hear different instruments. Then compose your own five-note password and see if a family member can play it back to pass.
Finish line: Your note block piano plays a scale and guards the gate with your own secret five-note tune.
Bonus challenge: Play 'echo': each round you add one note and the other player copies the whole tune. How long a tune can anyone remember?

Stuck?
- A note block only plays with an empty space above it. Keep the block on top clear.
- Each tap raises the pitch one step, and after the highest note it loops back to the lowest. Off key? Count its taps again.
- The block underneath changes the instrument. Wood, stone, sand, glass and wool all sound different.
