Build a hidden, well-lit camp with a spyglass lookout near the mansion.
The dark forest is dim even at noon, and something moves between the trees. Build a hideout before dark.

What you’ll build
Pick a spot at the forest edge with a clear view of the mansion's front door. Fence and light a safe camp, build a hut with a bed and supplies, then add a lookout high in the treetops. Spy on the mansion through your spyglass and sleep at camp to make it your new home base.
Finish line: Your lit, fenced camp has a bed, a supply chest and a treetop spyglass lookout on the mansion.
Bonus challenge: Camouflage the camp: cover the roof in leaves and hide the lights. Can a family member find it from the mansion door?

Stuck?
- Dark forest canopies are so thick that monsters can spawn under them even by day. Light the whole camp.
- Sleep in your camp bed to set your respawn point here, so you don't wake up miles away.
- Fences are 1.5 blocks tall, so mobs can't jump them, but remember to add a fence gate for yourself.
