Guard your totem in a vault you design, then survive a family heist.
The evoker dropped a golden charm that can cheat death once. Now everyone wants it. Lock it away… if you can.
- New skill Building a secure item vault
- Level 5 · Mysteries & Monsters
- Difficulty Intermediate
- Mode Survival
- Time 30–45 min
- Ages 13+
What you’ll build
Learn what makes a totem of undying so precious, then design a vault to guard it. Give it one hidden entrance and a sneaky trick to fool thieves, hide the real totem deep inside and leave a decoy in plain sight. Then challenge a family member to a timed heist.
Finish line: Your totem sits in a secret vault with a decoy, and you've timed a family heist attempt.
Bonus challenge: Swap roles: your family member builds a vault and you try to crack it. Who holds out longer?
You’ll need
- A totem of undying (or a stand-in)
- Redstone dust
- A lever or button
- Item frames
- Building blocks
You choose
- My vault's name
- Hidden entrance or puzzle lock
- My decoy item
Stuck?
- No totem yet? Evokers drop them, but any special item works as the prize.
- A totem only saves you if it's in your hand or off-hand. Locked in the vault, it's just treasure.
- Thief broke a wall? Agree the rules first, like no breaking blocks, and write them on a sign.
