Measure the mansion with coordinates and draw a floor plan to scale.
Architects draw plans. Detectives draw crime scenes. You'll draw the whole mansion floor, perfectly to scale.

What you’ll build
Walk to every corner of the mansion and note its coordinates, then subtract to find the real length and width. Pick a scale, draw the outline on squared paper and measure each big room the same way, secret room included. Colour it with a key and work out the floor's total area.
Finish line: You have a scale floor plan of one mansion floor, with measured rooms and its total area.
Bonus challenge: Draw the second floor on tracing paper at the same scale and lay it over the first. Do the walls line up?

Stuck?
- Length doesn't look right? Subtract the smaller X from the larger. With negative numbers, take care with the signs.
- Plan too big for the page? Try a bigger scale, like 1 square = 4 blocks.
- Show Coordinates is a world setting. Turn it on so you can read your X and Z.
