What you’ll build
Build the explorer's lost base into a cliff, hidden behind a waterfall you can walk straight through. Add tinted windows, a desk, a map corner, a bunk and dusty cobwebs. Leave three clue objects that hint at what happened, then give your family the tour and see if they can guess the twist.
Finish line: Your lost base hides behind a waterfall, with three clue objects and a twist to reveal.
Bonus challenge: Add a second secret room only reachable through a hidden passage behind the explorer's bookshelf. What did the explorer hide in there?
You’ll need
- Water buckets
- Glass
- Amethyst shards
- Shears
- Building blocks
You choose
- The explorer's base name
- My three clue objects
- The twist (what happened to the explorer)
Stuck?
- Place the water source at the top of the doorway so it flows down over the opening.
- Tinted glass is 4 amethyst shards around 1 glass. It hides your lights from outside.
- Use shears to collect cobwebs. Breaking them with your hand or a sword just gives string.
