The time machine crashed into a cliff. Inside: cold stone, flickering torches… and walls waiting for art.

What you’ll build
Crash your time machine at the foot of a cliff, then carve a cosy cave inside with a fire spot and sleeping nook. Dig a twisting tunnel to a secret chamber and cover the walls with pixel-art animals in earth colours, just like the first artists.
Finish line: Your torchlit cliff cave has an animal art wall, hand prints and a hidden back chamber.
Bonus challenge: Paint one animal with extra legs so it looks like it's running. Some historians think real cave artists used this trick in flickering firelight.

- Terracotta in earth colours

Stuck?
- Art looking blocky? Sketch each animal on a grid first and build it one row at a time.
- Cave too dark to see the art? Add more torches, spaced along the walls.
- Secret chamber too easy to spot? Add a bend in the tunnel so you can't see it from the entrance.
