Build thatched roundhouses and a stone house with stone furniture.
Your farm needs a village. Cone-shaped thatched roofs, mud walls… and a house with furniture made of rock.

What you’ll build
Build a round house with mud and log walls, then roof it with smaller and smaller rings of hay to make a cone of thatch. Add a stone house dug half into the ground with stone furniture, then grow it all into a village around a shared fire.
Finish line: Your village has thatched roundhouses and a stone house with stone furniture around a shared fire.
Bonus challenge: Build a house you enter through a hole in the roof by ladder. Historians have found very old towns where houses had no front doors!

Stuck?
- Roof not looking like a cone? Make each ring of hay one block smaller all round than the ring below.
- Round walls looking square? Plan the circle on squared paper first and copy it row by row.
- Doors need two free blocks of height, even in a low wall.
