Start a wheat farm and an animal pen, then stock 5 days of food.
On Normal, an empty stomach can drop you to half a heart. Build a food engine before your belly gives out.

What you’ll build
Plant a watered wheat field, fence a pen and lure animals home with the right food. Breed your first pair to start your food engine, then cook meat, bake bread and fill a labelled larder chest with enough food for five days.
Finish line: Your field is watered, your pen has a baby animal and your larder holds five days of food.
Bonus challenge: Find carrots or potatoes (often in villages) and plant a second crop. Which grows back faster, wheat or your new crop? Run a race.

Stuck?
- Animals only follow you while you hold their food: wheat for cows and sheep, carrots for pigs, seeds for chickens.
- Crops need water within 4 blocks and light to grow. Never jump on farmland or it turns back to dirt.
- No heart symbols? Both adults must be the same kind and not on cooldown from recent breeding.
