What you’ll build
Explore a huge cave with a family member or a friend, following one simple torch rule so you always know the way home. Map every room and fork as you go, steer clear of the Deep Dark and follow your torches out when it's time to turn back.
Finish line: Your cave is mapped and you've followed your torches safely back out the way you came.
Bonus challenge: Hand your map to someone else and challenge them to reach the deepest room using only the map. Can they find their way back out?
You’ll need
- A stack of torches
- A shield
- Food
- A water bucket
- A family member or friend
You choose
- My cave's name
- Torches go on my right or left going in
- My turn-back signal
Stuck?
- Torches only on your right going in means they're always on your left coming out.
- Spot dark blue sculk blocks? Back away quietly. That's the Deep Dark, and the Warden can appear.
- Agree your turn-back signal before you go in, so you leave while you still have food and torches.
