What you’ll build
Build a pitch-dark ghost train with a twisting track and five scares set off by detector rails: flashing skull eyes, a slamming coffin lid, a creepy chord, a snowball ambush and a finale of your own. Then send a family member through and score every yelp.
Finish line: Your ghost train rolls through five timed scares in total darkness, with every yelp scored.
Bonus challenge: Add a fake ending: the cart rolls out into daylight… then turns back into the dark for one last surprise nobody sees coming.

Stuck?
- A detector rail only powers redstone while a cart is on it, so put it just before each scare.
- Scare too early or late? Tap the repeater to change its delay.
- Keep torches out of the ride. Light spoils the dark, so light the outside instead.
