Build a life-size longship with 32 oars, a striped sail and a prow beast.
The time machine splashes down in an icy fjord and sinks. The only way out of here? Build a ship. A big one.

What you’ll build
Your time machine sinks in an icy fjord, so it's time to build a way out. Lay a long keel, curve the hull up with overlapping planks and stairs, then add rows of oar holes, a striped sail, a steering oar and a fearsome prow beast.
Finish line: Your life-size longship floats in the fjord with oars, a striped sail, a steering oar and a prow beast.
Bonus challenge: Build a small fishing boat beside your longship to the same scale. How many rowers does it need? Line them up like a family photo.

Stuck?
- Hull looking flat? Each row should step out a little more than the row below as it curves up.
- Stairs placing upside down? Tap the top half of a block's side to flip them, the bottom half for upright.
- Remember: the steering oar goes on the right side at the back, as you face forward.
